We are medical doctors who specialize in diagnosing and, in some cases, treating disease or injury using medical imaging technology. Medical imaging can involve the use of radiation, electromagnetic energy, sound waves, as well as other imaging techniques. Our specialized training makes us experts in interpreting the images produced with these technologies and allows us to insure their safe application.
As radiologists, we act as consultants to referring physicians (the doctor who sent you to the radiology department for testing) by aiding him or her in choosing the proper examination, interpreting the resulting images, and using that information in your care. When your doctors tell you they have reviewed your imaging studies, what they usually mean is that they have reviewed our radiology report or gone over the study with one of us.

We are 10 radiologists who provide the highest quality of state-of-the-art imaging and image-guided interventional services at Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
We are certified by the American Board of Radiology. Our group practices general Radiology and includes fellowship-trained subspecialists in Pediatric Radiology, Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Abdominal Imaging, Body Imaging, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and Emergency/Trauma Radiology.
